We join the message #IStayAtHome with the certainty that everything will turn out well and this will not stop us. Let’s take the hard moments that we have to live with initiatives that bring us closer to that longed-for routine.
The José Tomás Villa de Petrer International Guitar Festival organizes the contest for social networks with the following objectives:
1- Entertaining through our social networks in these days of isolation, worry and sadness, to the greatest number of people.
2- Continue to promote music and the guitar, antidotes to combat stress and boredom.
3- Give opportunity to young guitarists to demonstrate their progress and remain active at times when their initiatives to participate in events cultural, have been diminished by the current health emergency situation.
4- Promote cultural and musical activities contributing to continue its activity.

Young Promise
A work of free choice that does not exceed 7 minutes
Youth
First phase. A work of free choice that does not exceed 6 minutes
Final. Repertoire of free choice that does not exceed 10 minutes.
Professional
First phase. A work of free choice that does not exceed 8 minutes
Final. Free choice repertoire that does not exceed 12 minutes.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Record a video introducing yourself and saying your name, surname, age, date of birth, city and country.
Name the day and date you are recording the video from your home.
Announce the title and composer of the piece.
All without cuts and just before the performance with live sound.

PRIZE
Young Promise
Scholarship with accommodation and free registration with 4 master classes (active). Participation in the José Tomás Villa de Petrer International Guitar Competition (Young Promise category). Two tickets to each concerts.
Youth
Scholarship with accommodation and free registration with 4 master classes intermediate level (active). Participation in the José Tomás Villa de Petrer International Guitar Competition (Youth category). Two tickets to each concerts.
Professional
Scholarship with accommodation and free registration with 2 master classes upper level (active). Participation in the José Tomás Villa de Petrer International Guitar Competition (Professional category). Two tickets to each concerts.
Audience award (to the greatest number of “likes” of all categories)
Scholarship with accommodation and registration as a listener to master classes.
Participation in the WITH MY GUITAR AT HOME implies full acceptance of the rules.
Places limited to 20 participants per category admitted in strict order of inscription
