RELAXATION AND CONTROL OF PERFORMANCE FEAR. Performing in public usually causes states of anxiety, nervousness, tension and quite unpleasant emotional reactions. With this course, concert artists and music students will learn to master, control, modify and change fear through techniques used in behavioral therapies. The objective of the course is to reduce the intensity of fear, increase self-control and improve performance.

OBJECTIVES • Develop the confidence necessary to perform in public with good performance. • Introduce musicians to relaxation and self-control techniques. • Assess mastery of body and mind to safely use the technique and concentrate on listening and interpretation. • Define the lines of action conducive to making public interpretation an enriching and stimulating experience. • Promote the exchange of ideas and experiences between teachers and students. • Provide guidance for each particular case.
