Outstanding Italian-Uruguayan director, he has directed major ballet and opera productions such as Rite of Spring, Carnival of the Animals, Peter and the Wolf, Don Quixote del Plata, Carmina Burana, La Sylphide, the premiere in Spain, after 220 years , of the lost opera by F. Sor Telémaco nell’ Isola di Calipso and Madama Butterfly, as well as symphonic concerts in Mexico, Luxembourg, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Austria, Portugal, Germany, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Spain, among others. He was musical and artistic director of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uruguay, achieving historic seasons, collaborating with artists such as Pinchas Zukerman, Amanda Forsyth, Gustavo Núñez, Norma Aleandro, Francesca Dego, Carlo Ventre, Michael Barenboim, etc. His recording of new pieces for guitar by the Italian composer Simone Iannareli, conducting the Murcia Symphony Orchestra with Alex Garrobé, was acclaimed in Spain. He was a violist in ensembles such as the Kiel Philharmonic, Hamburg Camerata, Hamburg Radio Orchestra NDR, violinist with the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic and the West Eastern Divan Orchestra of maestro Daniel Baremboim, performing at major world music festivals. such as the Salzburg Festival, the Lucerne Festival, the Waldbühne in Berlin and the BBC Proms in London. Since 2021 he has been an itinerant visiting professor of Orchestral Conducting, Violin and Viola at El Sistema de Venezuela. Maestro Naser was recently appointed as a member of the jury of the first international Hans von Bülow Competition for Orchestral Conducting, in Europe, as well as resident guest conductor of the Orchestra of the Americas based in Washington D.C.
