X INTERNATIONAL GUITAR CONTEST JOSÉ TOMÁS - VILLA DE PETRER 9th – 14th July 2011
TERMS
1. All XIV Guitar Week masterclass students are allowed to join. Or Listener registers I compete.
2. Two categories will be stablished by age range: Juvenile, up to 22 (including the "proms" prize,up to 16) and Professional, no age limit.
3. On July 9th at 17:00 the public election will tell the order of participation will take place. That order will be followed all along.
4. Dates: - Juvenile: First stage: 10th at 17:30 h. FINAL: 11th at 17:30 h. Prize giving: 14th at 21:30 h.
- Proffesional: First stage: 12th at 17:30 h. Semi.Final: 13th at 17:30 h. BIG FINAL: 14th at 17:30 h. Prize giving: 14th at 21:30 h.
5. Repertoire: - Juvenile: First stage: 10 minutes maximum of participation with one or two works of free election Semi-final: 20 minutes maximum of free digest with at least two different epochs
- Professional: First stage: 10 minutes maximum of participation with one or two works of free election Semi-final: 15 minutes maximum of participation with one or two works of free election BIG FINAL: 25 minutes maximum of free digest including at least two different epochs.
6. The contestant will hand out three copies of the pieces in the playing order in every stage on the drawing,s day.
7. The Jury will be formed by teachers of the XIV Guitar Festival and from different people from the music world.
8. The Jury,s decision will be unquestionable, and the prizes could be declared deserted.
9. The contestants awarded must collect the prizes personally at the place and time where the award ceremony takes place.
10. Prices will be subject to legal taxes, with the exception of the tributary administration.
11. The no fulfillment of any of the contracts in the concerts given as a prize, will mean the loss of the rest of the concerts and their retributions.
12. Participaton in the X Internatinal Guitar Contest "José Tomás- Villa de Petrer" supposses the total acceptation of the bases.
